2 years

Unbelievably, it has been two years since the passing of my mother. January 23, 2006 was most definitely the day that changed my life forever. It sounds so trite, but you really can never be prepared.

Sadly, I was unable to make it to her grave today. Grace really wants to go and put down some pictures she has drawn for her, and I had to work late. Which was actually a God-send.

My favorite picture of us, taken Christmas Eve, just a month before she died.

Seriously, does she even look sick?

What a blessing.

(P.S. thank you hens, love you.)

I have been thinking about you all day. I've said it a million times, but I can't even imagine losing my mom. You've been so strong throughout everything. You amaze me because I'm not sure I would weather it all so well. Your mom would be so proud of you. The flowers were the least we could do. Love you!

I can't believe it's been two years. I am so sorry for your loss and still can't believe she's gone.

Please know I am thinking of you and your family. As mossmanfamily said, your mom is so proud of you. What a wonderful mother, wife and sister/daughter you are/become.

Hugs.

What a beautiful picture of the two of you. You have been an inspiration to me in the way you have delt with your grief and saddness. You are a truely good person, and your mama is proud.
